Brena Bain Walker is the 3rd Congressional District VP. She lives in Anderson with her husband, Dr. John Walker. Both Brena and John are retired university professors, John from Clemson, and Brena from Anderson University. She is a past president of the Anderson County Democratic Women's Club, a member of the Mental Health America board of directors and the Sister-Cities board, a community volunteer, and an international educator. She has taught Methods of Teaching English in China, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam under the sponsorship of the Consortium for Global Education. Brena and John have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.
