Anita LeBold is originally from Charlotte North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She and her husband Jeff moved to Greenville in 1984 when he accepted his first job after graduating from NC State. She got involved in Democratic politics in 1992 as a way to learn more about politics at the local level. She has subsequently worked for various candidates at the local, state and national level. Anita is a Past President, past Treasurer, past Membership VP and current Program Chair of the Greenville County Democratic Women. She is also active in the Greenville County Democratic Party. She currently serves as District 4 Representative of the SC Democratic Women’s Caucus. Anita is a 27 year veteran of the Mortgage Business and in addition to Democratic politics, enjoys reading, pulling for the Tarheel Basketball teams (men’s and women’s) and supporting local animal rights groups!
