Sandra works as a Customer Service Representative for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Carolina. A native of Sumter, she has resided in Columbia for more than 15 years.

She received her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Southern Wesleyan University and her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Creative Arts and Learning from Lesley University.

Very active in politics and other community organizations, she is a Lifetime member of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc (NCNW) where she currently holds the office of Correspondence Secretary. Shewas a 2006 honoree recipient of the “Living The Legacy Award.”

She started an after-school program and summer camp at her church and served as Director for 2006-2007. She volunteers as a CASA Guardian Ad Litem and as a tutor with the Greater Columbia Literacy Council and is a past volunteer counselor for the Congaree Girl Scout Council. She is a member of Miracle Faith Christian Center in Hopkins, South Carolina and works with the church. Sandra’s philosophy of life is “I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength” Phil. 4; 13.
