Nancy Kolman - President

Nancy Kolman has been involved in politics for most of her adult life. Living coast to coast enabled her to learn and compile a great deal of political knowledge from across the country. Since moving to SC eleven years ago, she has served as President of the Georgetown County Women’s Council and Secretary and Chair of the Georgetown County Democratic Party.Two of her lifetime commitments are the pursuit of every eligible voter being able to vote and assuring that every election is without fraud. She is a founding member and president of the Murrells Inlet Community Theatre and board member of Safe Families Initiative, an organization working to establish a family justice center in Georgetown County to make families safe from domestic violence. She resides in Pawleys Island with her husband Larry and has two children, a son in California and daughter in Ohio.

Brena Bain Walker - Secretary

Brena Bain Walker lives in Anderson with her husband, Dr. John Walker. Both Brena and John are retired university professors, John from Clemson, and Brena from Anderson University. She served as Congressional District 3 representative in 2008, and is a past president of the Anderson County Democratic Women's Club, a member of the Mental Health America board of directors and the Sister-Cities board, a community volunteer, and an international educator. She has taught Methods of Teaching English in China, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam under the sponsorship of the Consortium for Global Education. Brena and John have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.

Margaret T. Feagin - Treasurer
Margaret T. Feagin resides in Columbia, SC where she serves as Regional Mission Delivery Director for South Carolina at The American Cancer Society. Previously employed for thirty years with The SC Department of Social Services where she served in various capacities. She has a Degree in Business Management/Marketing and has owned and operated her own retail business in Georgetown and Litchfield Beach. Her community activities also include:

Louisiana Wright Sanders is the Past President of the South Carolina Democratic Women’s Council, and a former member of the SCDHEC Board representing the Third Congressional District. She was appointed by Governor Jim Hodges and served in that position from June 2000 to April 2004. She is a Past First Vice-President of the Aiken County Democratic Party serving for six years; Past Treasurer of the SC Democratic Women’s Council; former member of the Natural Cultural Competency Advisory Committee; former member of the Aiken, Barnwell, Bamberg Public Library Board; and served as Chair of the 2003 Savannah River Site Employee United Way Campaign. She was a Past Chairwoman of the Aiken County First Steps Partnership Board serving for six years as a member, and a Past Chairwoman and Treasurer of the Margaret J. Weston Community Health Center Board. Mrs. Wright Sanders currently serves on the SRP Federal Credit Union Board of Directors.She received her BS degree in Management and Accounting from the University of South Carolina-Aiken, and an MBA degree from Nova Southeastern University. She was previously a Senior Public Relations Specialist for Westinghouse Savannah River Company and now holds the position of Senior Financial Analyst in the Government Compliance Department of URS Washington Division.
